Comparison
Looking for a LifeAt alternative?
LifeAt is good software, so this is not a takedown. It is a plain description of what Focusverse is, so you can tell which of the two fits how you like to work.
What Focusverse is.
A free, browser-based focus space built around locations in worlds you love: the Hogwarts library, lofi cafés, a Night City apartment, Rivendell at night, real-world libraries. Timer, tasks, ambient sound, and stats live in one place. No account needed; signing in adds cross-device sync and a profile with special characters.
How the two differ.
LifeAt leans productivity suite: a planner, calendar, notes, and a very large library of spaces, with paid plans on top. Focusverse is smaller and deliberately atmosphere-first: fictional universes you already love, everything free.
When LifeAt might fit better.
If you want task management, calendars, and widgets in the same tab, or the widest possible catalogue of spaces, LifeAt is built for that.
When Focusverse fits better.
If the place is the point, especially a fictional place, and you want to be working ten seconds after opening the tab with no account and no paywall.
Both will get you to a focused hour. Focusverse is the one that tries to make the hour feel like somewhere you wanted to be.
