About Focusverse

A cozy place to study and focus in a world you love

Focusverse is a cozy corner of the internet for getting things done. Pick a universe and location within it (the Hogwarts library, a lofi desk with a penguin for company, an apartment above Night City) and settle in. Every location is a full-screen ambient background with sounds you mix yourself. There's a timer when you want structure, and a task list to sort out your priorities.

It's free, it runs in your browser, and you don't need an account (but it does give you some nice extras).

How a session works

  1. 1. Pick a location. Every universe has dozens: libraries for deep work, cafés for lighter things, somewhere louder for breaks.
  2. 2. Set the rhythm. The Pomodoro timer handles focus and break blocks. Or skip it and just work; the place doesn't mind.
  3. 3. Layer the sound. Fireplace, rain, brown noise, a café murmur, lofi. All quiet enough to sit behind your thoughts.
  4. 4. Bring a friend, or don't. Shared sessions put you both in the same location with the same timer. Solo is just as good.

Common questions

What is Focusverse?
A free study and focus space that runs in your browser. You pick a location in a universe you love (Hogwarts, a lofi café, Night City), set a timer if you want one, and work. Full-screen ambient backgrounds, sounds you choose yourself, your tasks. That's it.
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no trial, no paywall. Signing in is optional: it lets your settings, tasks, and streaks follow you across devices, and personalize a profile with special characters.
Can I choose the sounds?
Yes. Every location has a soundboard. Layer rain, a fireplace, coffee shop murmur, brown noise, birdsong, or ocean waves, each with its own volume, and add music when you want it.
Can I study with friends?
Yes. Start a shared session and send the link. You'll sit in the same location with the same timer and the same rain. Your task list and volume stay yours.
Does Focusverse have a Pomodoro timer?
It does: focus and break blocks with lengths you choose. By default it lives in the corner of the screen, not the center of your attention.
Does it work on my phone?
It runs, but it's built for bigger screens. A laptop or tablet is where the locations feel like real places.
